not worth the trouble

it was disapppointing in its 3d results, i used all sorts of subjects and general photos with poor results, i even used a left hand side photo from my stereo photo collection, which is an excellent half of a 3d photo, with poor results.

Not intended to replace real 3d

I noticed another reviewer did not like this when compared to real 3d... the only thing that compares to real 3d would be real 3d. In the manual they talk about its uses, This is designed to have fun and most of us don't have $3000 in 3D photography equipment - for him and his "Stereo collection" - thats great - he docent need it - why would he? he has the ability to make real 3d. Thats like asking a Ferrari owner what they don't like about a Toyota - We all don't have that kind of equipment. I tried it and got excellent results - it took me a few tries to understand it but, after I did, the results were quite good - they weren't real 3D but then - thats sort of the point to buying it... If I could make real 3d would I need this... no. But my kids school photos don't come in 3D, and my grandparents are dead, even if I had 3D equipment, they are gone - all that remains are the photos that I have in 2D. A billion $$$ wont make real 3D images of them. The people who make this also say very clearly that it's not real 3D and it never claims to be, then even explain why real 3D from a 2D image is impossible. If I hired an artist to make a pseudo 3D image it would cost me like $1000 - this is way cheaper and a whole lot more fun and the results look great - they have a gallery on their web page. They have some amazing pictures in there. If your interested in making 3D, but don't want the cost involved this is an excellent place to start - now im hooked on 3d and plan to explore real 3D and $$$$ equipment, but this is where I started - and I love it.

Nice program! Blown away from the results of some photo's (converts). Your program brings "life" to my picures. It offers a great scala of "effects" so you get surpriced every time!!! I think your software is a good investment and I intent to use it for years.

Best recommendation is to buy the product

I thought the best recommendation for a product is to buy it. However, when I went to the UnityPro website, I discovered that T3D has been discontinued. I was disappointed and would still like to buy the program, but I couldn't find a place anywhere on the website that accepted payments. Have I left it too late or can I still buy it? Hope you can help. In the meantime, greetings from Australia.
